Enter this home at street level through a grand cedar and clear glass, 8-foot door. Descend the curved stairway to the multi-level living wing--summer or winter you’ll be greeted with floor to ceiling multi-story windows bathing the home with the more-than 300 days of sunshine that grace Tahoe. Contemporary furnishings and up-to-date appliances make for a life simple elegance. A wood-burning rock and flagstone in the dining room add abundance to any meal and a gas fireplace in the living room along with a surround-sound multi-media system make music and entertainment easy. Hydronic heating throughout provides pleasant warm floors. The kitchen has a dry-goods pantry, Thermador gas range, microwave, dishwasher, beverage bar and stainless steel fridge with icemaker. Perched over the living area is a large loft serviced by a large steam shower.
In the bedroom wing are three bedrooms each en-suite with T.V and fireplaces. The king-master features a 10 foot-tall, double-head, rock shower. The two queen masters each feature tubs and showers and all bedrooms boost don’t-even-lift-your-head-off-the-pillow views.
A large two-car garage, convenience to ski resorts, and the homeowner’s association beach and piers make this an ideal summer or winter rental. Multiple levels, of extensive, southeast-facing decks put you in the landscape with West Shore lake views and canyon forest. All day sun and light enhance this home year round. All living areas and bedrooms have lake views. The home sleeps six in bedrooms. There is a queen sleeper couch in the loft. Two twin-sleeping pads are also available.
Within the Talmont/Twin Peaks area, approximately seven-tenths of a mile from the home is a trailhead into Paige Meadows, wilderness area best know by locals. Cross-country ski, hike or mountain bike this area.
You’ll be nine miles to Squaw: seven miles to Alpine: four miles to Homewood. Alpine Ski, back run area is less than three miles from the house accessed via Ward Creek and the Serwood chair. Summer guests will enjoy easy access to Lake Tahoe beaches, a private homeowners association beach with piers and buoys.

We are flexible on arrival and departures dates.
Basic rates do not include pets. Pet can be accomodated at an additonal rate of $35 per day, per pet.

We accept personal checks when paid at least 30 days in advance. We can also process a direct deposit to our rental account.
